An admin can block any name from being assigned to or being used by any member by putting the name in a list for the purpose. So, if you are worried about a newbie masquerading as you, your name could be put on the list.
On the other hand, the software may handle all that without having to do a thing. Maybe one member can try masquerading as another (non-admin) member and report back here what happens. I could test it, but I would have to add a phony account.
